Labels and Categories: Is Your Child "Special Needs"?
A show gets worked out again and again in each city in the country, at some point between pre-school and second grade. A youngster's educators are worried that the kid isn't performing up to the norm, and they request that the guardians address the kid's primary care physician. The guardians hesitantly bring the subject up at the specialist's office and the specialist talks straightforwardly to the instructor. Abruptly, the abbreviations begin to stream: does the kid have ADHD? What about CAPD? Perhaps it's DDS-NOS?... what's more, the main thing the guardians are believing is "Our kid isn't a name."
